I ... don't think the title will be more coherent than that. I got an apartment. This is taking a moment to sink in; I got an apartment. The lease starts in August, I move in mid-month, and it's gonna be great. The space looks great, and the building's in great condition. In other things, spring has sprung (well, it just hailed, but whatever) and that means going back onto the mountain for photography. At the moment, I'm working on my room mate and apartment search. It's going slowly, partially because I'm trying to pin down one of two potential roomies. I've got the apartment search down to three regions of the city, anyways. Where I end up living will depend in part on who I'm living with — hopefully someone who isn't too bothered by some public transit. If I'm living close to campus, it's really expensive, whereas just a few minutes farther out the rents drop in price precipitously. So, yeah, I'd like to live a bit farther out. Stretches the dollar further, one might say.

Okay. So, say someone's doing homework in a common room and listening to music set at a level that is not bothering people outside of the room. Say you want to study somewhere, and you're noise sensitive. Do you then proceed to not say anything, go into the common room, where people come in and out constantly and make noise, and then ask that the person who is already there doesn't make noise? Especially when you are bothered a bit even by that person typing on a keyboard? I mean, really. Please, someone explain this particular logic ... anyone?

I've returned to my alter-universe queer fic, finally. After having started on it in Paris, I set it aside for basically the whole summer and Fall semester, so it's time to pick up where I left off, and actually create this work of magic and love. Yeah, that sounds horribly tacky. Oh well. I may post parts of it here, however artistic integrity will probably keep me from posting more, as some of it gets a little to steamy for dA, at least according to their policies, and I refuse to edit solely for this site's whims. So ... back to the adventures of Jerôme and Warren, then ...

I'm bored. It's as simple as that; I have no desire to do anything involving homework right now. At least there's no pressing assignments. Rather, what I want to work on is not available to work on yet. I guess there's always a sock to knit.
